The rankings for best golf club are compiled based on numerous aspects influencing the quality of the golf club, such as the golf course itself, the overall impression of the club, maintenance, facilities such as practice facilities, clubhouse and the perceived value for money.

Falkenstein, which is steeped in history, is the regular venue for high-level national and international championships and it meets the very highest standards of the game. It's the third year in a row that Hamburger Golfclub e.V. Falkenstein is rated as the best golf club in Germany.

WINSTONgolf, situated in Vorbeck, can be found in an idyllic and moraine landscape with lakes, rivers and woodland, and it meets the demands of all classes of golfers. St. Leon-Rot dropped to the fourth place with an average rating of 8,62. Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof is the highest new entry in the ranking and is found on the third place with an average rating of 8,74.
